Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 17, 2026

Short version: this site has no tracking, no cookies, and no forms. The only way I learn anything about you is if you write to me yourself.

Who you are dealing with

Vector Web Group is a one-person studio in South Florida, United States. I build and maintain websites for local businesses. When this page says "I", it means one person, not a company department. Reach me at hello@vectorwebgroup.com.

What this website collects

Nothing on its own. There is no analytics script, no advertising pixel, no cookie banner and no contact form, because there are no cookies to consent to and no form to fill in. The only interactive element is my email address.

Two technical exceptions, and they are the same for any site on the internet:

What I get when you email me

Your email address, whatever name you sign with, and whatever you tell me about your business or your project. That's it — I don't buy data about you from anyone and I don't look you up in third-party databases.

Mail sent to hello@vectorwebgroup.com is received through Cloudflare Email Routing and read in Gmail; replies are sent through Brevo and Gmail. That means those companies handle your message on its way to me, exactly as your own email provider does.

What I do with it

Answer you. Quote a price and a date. Do the work we agreed on, and invoice for it. Keep in touch about your site if you're on a care plan. Nothing else.

I do not sell personal information, I do not share it for advertising, and I do not send marketing email to people who merely wrote me a question.

Who else sees it

Only the services I need to do the job: the hosting and email providers named above, and — if we work together — whatever platform your own site runs on, plus a payment processor when it's time to pay an invoice. Each of them sees only what it needs. I don't hand your details to anyone else, and I don't take on subcontractors without telling you first.

How long I keep it

Email about a project stays while the project runs and for as long afterwards as I might need it — a client who comes back in a year expects me to remember what we built. Casual enquiries that go nowhere I delete when I clear out my mail. Ask me to delete yours sooner and I will.

Your rights

If you live in California, the CCPA gives you the right to know what personal information I hold about you, to get a copy, to have it deleted, and not to be treated worse for asking. You also have the right to opt out of the sale of your information — there is nothing to opt out of, because I don't sell it.

If you are in the European Union or the United Kingdom, the GDPR gives you the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict what I hold, and to object to my using it. My basis for holding it is simple: you contacted me, or we have work in progress together.

To use any of these rights, write to hello@vectorwebgroup.com and say what you want done. I'll reply within 30 days, usually much sooner, and I won't charge you for it. I may ask you to confirm you're writing from the address in question — otherwise anyone could ask me to delete your file.

Children

I sell services to businesses, not to children, and I don't knowingly collect anything from a child under 13. If you think a child has sent me personal information, write to me and I'll delete it.

Security, honestly stated

Your messages sit in ordinary email accounts protected by strong passwords and two-factor authentication, and the site itself runs over HTTPS. That is reasonable care, not a guarantee: no one who tells you email is perfectly secure is being straight with you. Please don't send me passwords, card numbers or social security numbers by email — if I ever need a credential to work on your site, I'll tell you how to hand it over safely.

Changes to this page

If I change how any of this works, I change this page and update the date at the top. There's no mailing list to notify, so the date is your marker.

Questions about anything here? Just ask — hello@vectorwebgroup.com. A plain answer from me beats a page of legal text.
